Sweet Angel is a 2007 Catalina 42 Mll, hull number 974.  What makes her different than most C42s is that she has inboom mainsail furling with an electic winch. She is easy to sail, and is safe and comfortable. Her safety equipment exceeds U.S. Coast Guard Requirments. And best of all, she is a fun boat to be aboard and to sail.

Sister Ship

The Catalina 42 is the most popular 42 foot sailboat in the history of sail boat production. There are over 1,000 of them sailing throughout the world. They routinely cross major oceans and several have circumnavigated.

The reason for their popularity, is they are a proven safe boat that handles well. They have roomy comfortable cockpits that can seat 10, but we never take more than six passengers  so none of our quests feel cramped.

Sweet Angel has an auto pilot, wheel steering, a six person offshore rated liferaft, an EPIRB (emergency locator beacon), three ship to shore radio systems and a SSB radio for long range circumnavigation. She sleeps six in two cabins and has two bathrooms and showers. She has a full galley with microwave, stove and oven and is equipped with a flat screen TV.

She is 42 feet long and draws 7 feet of water.  Her hull speed is 8 knots.
